Small component, big impact: reliable protection for the side stand sensor

The switch that reliably interrupts the ignition when the side stand is extended has already prevented many problems. Riding off with the side stand down can have very unpleasant consequences for both rider and motorcycle. It therefore makes sense to properly protect the exposed switch against damage caused by stone impact or a fall.

But there is a second important reason to protect it: if the switch is damaged in a crash or tip-over, the engine will no longer start and continuing the journey becomes impossible.

The high level of protection provided by our cover results from the rigidity of the sophisticated construction made of folded stainless steel sheet. It surrounds the sensor with its stable frame and reliably protects it. This significantly reduces the risk of sensor damage, particularly during demanding off-road use. Installation is straightforward using a single mounting point on the motorcycle.
